FORTE’
In the mid to late 90’s there was no escaping the music of Forté. This quartet was comprised of four beautiful and talented women from Hawaii with powerhouse voices to match. Gissele, Kay, Jo & Marlene first started singing together for fun at the Fisherman’s Wharf and soon launched a professional singing career as a pop group. They performed throughout the islands of Hawaii, the mainland, Guam and Saipan. They released three full-length CDs, several singles and were featured on numerous compilations. With hits such as “Give My Love To You,” “Follow The Sun,” “Could This Be Love,” and “Loving You,” Forté was a 90s concert favorite opening for pop superstars such as NSync, 98 Degrees, and Destiny’s Child.
Forté reunited for the first time in more than 15 years this past June at the Stuck in the 90s Concert at Aloha Tower Marketplace as headliners with nationally-acclaimed acts Shai and All-4-One. Also for the first time, Forté has released all their music into a single album called Forté: The Complete Collection along with new music available at all digital music outlets. They are working on new music so stay tuned.
